Progressive endurance planning, long-run structure, pacing practice, and race-day preparation.
Combine running endurance with grip, carries, functional strength, and obstacle-specific preparation.
Purposeful workouts to develop running efficiency, controlled intensity, and stronger race performance.

Training guidance is not medical care. New athletes, people returning from injury, or anyone with health concerns should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before beginning a program.

Strength training is a key part of a balanced endurance and OCR program. The goal is to build durable movement, whole-body strength, grip capacity, and control that complement—not compete with—running recovery.
Squats, split squats, step-ups, lunges, and controlled single-leg work to develop strength for hills, trails, and running stability.
Hip hinges, Romanian deadlifts, glute bridges, and hamstring curls to support powerful, balanced movement.
Rows, presses, push-ups, pull-ups, and assisted variations to build upper-body capacity for obstacle transitions.
Dead hangs, farmer carries, suitcase carries, towel holds, and controlled grip intervals for obstacle readiness.
Planks, side planks, dead bugs, bird dogs, and anti-rotation work for posture and control under fatigue.
Single-leg balance, ankle and hip mobility, controlled step-downs, and movement preparation for varied terrain.
Exercise selection, loading, and progression should match each athlete’s experience and readiness. Modify or stop movements that cause pain, and seek qualified medical or rehabilitation guidance when needed.
